Default EVs and Homes With Kids

This is the first article from main stream media that I have seen where someone is recognizing that especially for households with kids, there is going to be a need for charging after coming home in the evening and before going out.

I like his observation that
it quickly become apparent that the ability to keep the battery at or near full capacity might be the most important characteristic for an EV.
This is especially true of vehicles with lower range. I would think a lot less about topping off a battery with 200 miles range than one with 100 (or 65) miles of range. But I agree that conveniently keeping the battery topped up will be a high priority for me.
