I wonder if this press release was meant to set the stage for a pricing announcement. It could be prepping non-EV enthusiasts for a higher price from ICE cars by saying "hey, but you don't have to pay for maintenance on an EV". We can only hope we hear something soon!

Hmm, do you think there is no (calendaric) battery wear, pumps for water cooling of the battery, a bunch of sensors controlling that, magnets dropping out of the motor etc.....
The OEM and attached industries business model would not chance that much I assume.
