A very basic question
Hi, I've just signed up for this forum on the Ford Focus EV and I have a very basic question.
Up till now I've assumed the Focus EV could be charged either with the charger they plan to sell thru Best Buy, the 3-4 hour charge, or else on standard 110V household current. I've seen Youtube videos that show the Mitsubishi I Miev getting charged either way, which strikes me as an advantage because at least you could get a partial charge from any standard outlet. But in reading through all the posts on this forum just now, along with the Ford site, I don't see any charging system except that J-1772 plug requiring the 220V wiring. I understand this is the best way, but what if you're caught out there somewhere discharged and no high-capacity charging station available?
So does anyone know, does the Focus EV have 110V charging capability as well as 220V?
Thanks - Pat/greeniniowa
