Props To The Leaf

OK, I have been kind of harsh on on the Leaf and its "aesthetic."

Today I saw one for the first time in person, and I have to admit its better than looking that I thought.

Even the bulbous headlights which I have hitherto referred to as "frog-like" were actually kind of cool looking in a futuro kind of way.

Didn't have time for a test drive, but it is definitely on the to do list.

Still the Focus is more attractive, but the looks of the Leaf are not as objectionable as I thought based on the pictures.

Very common occurrence. I saw my first leaf at an auto show...definitely changed my mind about it's appearance once I saw it in person.

They designed the car for a very simple purpose to run on electric power. It doesn't need to look sporty since the body of the car is shaped aerodynamically. I think the engineers made the car as light as possible so it can run swiftly without losing its power.

Saw a Leaf back at the Detroit Auto Show in Jan: I still didn't like it--didn't appear any more appealing to me than it did in pictures..
